AGENTS

Let your agent run your phones

Give an AI agent such as Claude Code or Codex one line, and it sets up your Rinzo phone system with the rinzo command-line tool, tests every path and asks you before anything that costs money.

Give your agent one line

Paste this into Claude Code, Codex or another AI agent that can run commands on your computer:

Set up my business phones with Rinzo. Follow https://rinzo.ai/SKILL.md

It reads the setup playbook, tells you the plan and waits for your OK before it installs anything. Already signed up? It picks up from where your account is.

Who does what

WhoStep
YouSign up at signup.rinzo.ai and pay for your first credit on Stripe’s hosted checkout. It takes a few minutes, and your agent never sees your card.
Your agentAsks to install the rinzo command-line tool and its skill on your computer.
YouApprove its sign-in: open the link it shows you, check the code, sign in as the account admin and click Approve. It never asks for your password.
Your agentLooks at your account, then asks everything it needs in one message: your people, office hours, holidays, what callers hear, greetings and phones.
Your agentBuilds it: users and extensions, phones, ring groups, voicemail, and an auto-attendant with office hours, lunch and holidays. Then it checks every path with simulated calls (what a caller gets on a holiday, at lunch, or pressing 2 on a Tuesday) without dialling anyone.
YouMake a test call or two when it asks.
Your agentTells you what it set up and how to change it.

What your agent can do

Everything an account admin can do in the Control panel: add people and extensions, connect desk phones and softphones, route your numbers, build auto-attendants with office hours, breaks and holidays, ring groups with backup people, shared voicemail boxes, conference rooms, forwarding to mobiles, call history, and call events sent to your CRM or other systems. Afterwards, just ask: “Close the office on December 24”, “Add Priya at extension 104 with a desk phone”, “Who called yesterday afternoon?”

You stay in charge

It asks you before anything that costs money, deletes something or emails your staff. It never handles card details: credit and cards stay in the Control panel under My Account › Billing. During early access, phone numbers are added by Rinzo support, so it will ask you to email support@mail.rinzo.ai for more. 911 and emergency calling are not supported. Everything it builds shows up in the Control panel: people, phones and ring groups in SmartPBX, and menus, office hours and holidays in the Advanced Callflows app. It signs in with your account’s API key, kept in your computer’s keychain; Developers & agents explains how to revoke it.

Other agents that run commandsrinzo skill install --dir DIR with the agent’s skills folder, or point it at /SKILL.md
Chat assistants without a terminalThey can read these pages and plan the setup with you; making the changes needs an agent that runs commands on a computer.

The setup playbook installs the skill for your agent; this table is for doing it yourself.

Set it up by hand

curl -fsSL https://rinzo.ai/install.sh | sh
rinzo login
rinzo skill install

Then ask your agent to set up your phones. The Developers & agents guide has every command, login option and safety rule.
