Calling rates and usage charges
Every Rinzo calling rate after your included minutes, the numbers that are not available, and optional usage charges such as voicemail transcription. All prepaid from your credit.

Your 100 minutes a month are shared by every call on your account: calls the AI receptionist takes, calls your team answers and calls you make to US and Canadian numbers. They start again each calendar month; unused minutes don’t carry over. After that, every minute is $0.02, inbound or outbound, from your prepaid credit. Calls to toll-free numbers and between your extensions are free and don’t use your minutes. You can call the 48 contiguous US states, Washington DC and Canada (except Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut), plus US & Canada toll-free numbers. Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, the Caribbean, premium-rate (900) numbers and international destinations are not available yet.

Calls are counted in 60-second increments, with a 60-second minimum, both for your included minutes and for calls charged after them. For example, a 61-second call to a US number counts as 2 minutes: it uses 2 of your included minutes, or costs $0.04 once they are used.
Exceptions
Some numbers look like regular US or Canadian numbers but cost far more to call. Rather than charge more for them, we block calls to them until we offer them.

Voicemail transcription costs $0.02 per transcribed voicemail, from your credit. It is off until you turn it on for a voicemail box (Transcribe, in SmartPBX). Messages up to one minute long are transcribed (longer ones aren’t, and aren’t charged), and the transcript is added to the voicemail email. The AI receptionist is part of your plan, with no monthly fee: you pay $0.10 a minute while it is talking with a caller, in 6-second increments, from your prepaid credit. Your free month includes 30 AI minutes. The call it answers is an inbound call like any other: it uses your included minutes, then costs $0.02 a minute. You choose where it answers in your call routing.
Prepaid credit
We email you when your balance drops below $5. Once your included minutes are used, calls to and from outside phones are paid from credit: if it runs out, they stop until you add more. Calls between your own extensions keep working. Plans and phone numbers are on the pricing page.
