Billing & credit

Prepaid credit, calling rates, top-ups and refunds.

How billing works

Rinzo is prepaid: you add credit, and calls are paid from your balance. No platform, per-user or per-device fees. You pay for calls and phone numbers from prepaid credit (numbers are $10 a month each, or from $4 a month prepaid), and can add channels for unlimited US & Canada calling.

Calling rates

Calls to the US & Canada cost $0.02/min. Inbound calls to your numbers cost $0.01/min. Calls to US & Canada toll-free numbers and calls between your own extensions are free. Calls are billed per minute in 60-second increments, with a 60-second minimum. Full pricing →

Add credit

In the Control panel, open My Account › Billing and choose Add credit: it charges your saved card, and the credit is added straight away. To pay with another card, choose Replace card (or Use a different card when adding credit) and enter it in Stripe’s secure form there; Rinzo never sees your card number. Billing also shows your card, automatic top-up, the low-credit email, each phone number’s monthly fee and your recent card payments.

Automatic top-up

When you sign up we save your card for automatic top-ups: when your credit falls below $5, we add $25. Change or turn this off in the Control panel under My Account › Billing.

Channels and prepaid plans

A two-way channel is one call at a time, inbound or outbound, with unlimited calling to regular US & Canada numbers: $30 a month, $18 a month for 12 months ($216 upfront) or $12 a month for 36 months ($432 upfront). Calls beyond your channels are charged per minute from your credit, so none are blocked. Add channels in the Control panel under My Account › Billing. Fair use applies: channels are for your own business’s calls, not autodialers, call centres or reselling minutes. Prepaid terms are charged upfront to your saved card. When a term ends, the number or channels continue month to month at the monthly price, unless you release the number or stop the channels. Leaving early is not refunded automatically; a refund we agree to is what you paid minus the months used at the monthly price.

Your balance

Your balance is shown in the Control panel. We email you when your balance drops below $5. If your credit runs out, paid calls stop until you add more; calls between your own extensions keep working.

Refunds

Unused credit can be refunded on request. Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from your balance.

Card security

Payments are taken on Stripe’s hosted checkout. You enter your card details on Stripe; they never touch Rinzo. Stripe keeps the card you save for top-ups.
